Veeam Backup

Backups you have actually tested.

OIS is a Veeam partner. Whether you need Microsoft 365 protected, an offsite copy of the Veeam jobs you already run, or backup managed for you on servers we host — it is the same platform, and the same people supporting it.

Four ways we run Veeam

They solve different problems for different people. Find yourself below — or tell us what you have and we will do it for you.

Microsoft 365

Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365

Microsoft runs your mail; it does not keep a backup of it for you. Their retention covers their outages, not your deleted mailbox, your departed employee, or the ransomware that encrypted a SharePoint library. Veeam backs up Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams into storage you control, and restores a single message or an entire site.

Who it is for: You use Microsoft 365 and assume it is already backed up.

Cloud Connect

Offsite backup into our cloud

You already run Veeam on your own servers. What you may not have is a copy of it anywhere else — and a backup sitting in the same building as the thing it backs up is not really a backup. Veeam Cloud Connect points your existing jobs at a repository hosted with us, over an encrypted connection, with no VPN to build and no hardware to buy.

Who it is for: You run Veeam on-premises and need the offsite copy.

Managed

Managed backup for servers we host

If your VPS is with us, we can run Veeam against it for you. You get a backup regime that is managed, monitored and actually tested, rather than a snapshot schedule you are quietly hoping still works — and when you need a restore, you ask us and we do it.

Who it is for: You host with OIS and would rather not run backup yourself.

Agent

Veeam Agent for servers and workstations

Physical servers, cloud instances and workstations get backed up by a Veeam agent installed on the machine itself, wherever it lives. It does not have to be hosted with us — plenty of the machines worth protecting are sitting in an office.

Who it is for: You have machines to protect that are not hosted anywhere.

Why this matters more than it sounds

Restores, not backups

Everyone has backups. Far fewer have ever completed a restore. Veeam lets you recover a single file, a single mailbox item, or a whole machine — and we would rather prove that with you once than find out during an incident.

A copy somewhere else

The failures that actually destroy businesses take the backup with the original: ransomware that reaches the network share, a failed array holding both, a fire. An offsite copy is the part that turns a bad week into an inconvenience.

Someone to call

The worst time to meet your backup vendor is the morning you need them. You get the same 24/7/365 team as everything else here — people who answer the phone, not a ticket queue.

Already covered by something else?

Check before you buy. We would rather tell you that you are fine.

OIS shared hosting plans include their own backups, and VPSplans take weekly snapshots, with daily available on request. Veeam is what you add when you want a copy that is independent of the server it protects, when the data lives in Microsoft 365 rather than on a server at all, or when you want the restore to be somebody else's job.Tell us what you have and we will say honestly which of these you need — including none of them.

Let's make sure you can actually restore

Tell us what you are running and where it lives. We will tell you what protecting it properly looks like.
